Transilience is a fundamental human capacity
Ideas & Essays
No framework worth its weight is ever finished. Every framework has an interior that is settled and an exterior still being mapped. The settled parts hold weight — they’ve been tested against enough lives to be load-bearing. The edge is where we work before that testing has happened. Observations that may shift what the framework can reach. Patterns I’m noticing as the framework meets the world. Thinking that isn’t yet finished, published in the state it’s actually in.
The hope is that we keep building until the next leap, the next paradigm shift arrives. The moment when Transilience itself is surpassed, and this framework takes its place in the archive of what helped us reach the next place. The settled work lives at the Kitchen Table and discussion of its foundations in the Glossary. The Essays are where the framework breathes and the edges are explored.
